For years I’ve been fascinated by maps and images of the lines left behind by past industrial use for mines, quarries, oil camps, developments and more. In the Surface series I explore how different paint colors and perspective lines create a complex reaction to what we’re seeing. The marks are compelling and beautiful; and so are the colors.
